I am Bob Woodard. I'm a special education teacher and work mostly with sophomore students. In addition to teaching 10th grade Transitions and a 4th hour Flex class, I support students primarily in English 10, Biology, and US History. My goal is to help each student be successful in both the academic and social worlds of high school and help prepare each student for the world beyond high school.
Outside of my role as a special educator, I am very involved in music in the Jackson area. I play trombone in several area ensembles and teach brass lessons privately and through the Jackson Symphony Orchestra Community Music School. I also enjoy gardening and all kids of music. I have a 24 year old son, Phil, who works at the JCISD Help Desk, and a 28 year old daughter, Jaie, who will soon complete her PhD in computational biophysics.
